Authenticity, humility, and professionalism are the qualities that we wanted to represent our tapestry collection. These words also perfectly describe Toots Thielemans. A man who was unfailingly friendly, eternally modest, and always willing to have a chat with anyone—regardless of their ‘station’ in life, even though he played with some the world’s greatest musicians. Because performing miracles with the harmonica was precisely what he did so beautifully, making an ‘ordinary’ instrument extraordinary.
